• Add ribbon, lace, and a punched-out border along the bottom of the chipboard. Embellish ribbon with vintage buttons. Place lace along the top of the frame.
• Adhere chipboard background into the open frame.
Creating each tag for inside the frame:
Top row of tags 1-5
• Tag background is from the Life’s Journey tag pad. Adhere this background paper to the office tag. Add three buttons along the seam.
• Adhere inked Amy Butler shape to office tag. Place Madeline Pleated Grand Adhesion on Amy Butler shape. Embellish office tag with velvet ribbon and ephemera of your choice.
• Adhere a piece of ribbon down the center of your office tag and trim off excess ribbon. Using a vintage clip, attach photo with “Family” word torn from Life’s Journey paper pad.
• Ink the inside of a number stencil with Robin’s Egg ink onto the office tag.
• Place Life’s Journey torn sticker on tag and trim off excess. Solder a dragon’s tear with ephemera of a clock in it. Attach a jewelry chain to it.
Second row of tags 6-10
• Cover office tag with ancestry.com patterned paper. Attach a metal fastener to the top of the tag. Using 3-D Dots, attach a chipboard letter to tag.
• Cover tag with old ledger paper. Emboss the metal frame after inking with Staz-On ink and Sea Glass Pigment Ink. Be careful: The metal will get very hot when embossing. Add ephemera inside the frame.
• Use a real envelope and cover your office tag with it. Add patterned paper where the envelope doesn’t cover the tag. Stitch “X’s” with embroidery thread.
• Cover tag with cream-colored party streamer. Add metal spoon and adhere pearls on it. Place Butterfly sticker on the handle of the spoon.
• Cover office tag with Life’s Journey patterned paper. Write a handwritten note and place on background paper. Cut roses and leaves from patterned paper and place on office tag as an embellishment.
Third row of tags 11-15
• Cover tag with ledger paper. Place tickets on tag at an angle. Stamp fabric with flying heart clear stamp. Stitch stamp with embroidery thread and add a safety pin to the top of sewn heart. Embellish tag with the Grand Adhesion word sticker “Delight.”
• Cover office tag with vintage wallpaper. Attach fabric to the top of the tag by folding it over. Tie floral pieces together and adhere to the top of tag.
• Cover office tag with a tag from the tag pad. Add a piece of screen to the tag. Wire wrap the butterfly bead and attach to screen with a jump ring. Place word label sticker on to tag with 3D-Dots. Place the word “Treasure” onto the label. Add Madeline metal art over the tag’s hole.
• Cover the entire tag with a family photo. Stamp the word “Dream” onto the tag with Staz-On ink.
• Cover the office tag with a tag from the tag pad. Add rickrack and two vintage buttons. In the center of the tag, place a fabric-covered brad.
Fourth row of tags 16-20
• Cover office tag with a sewing pattern. Ink the edges of the tag. Tear a corrugated cardboard and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. Add rickrack, brads and bridal floral to the tag.
• Cut tag from textured fabric. Tie ribbon through the hole at the top of the tag. Emboss the metal key with gold embossing powder. Be careful: The metal key will become extremely hot.
• Cover office tag with patterned paper from Life’s Journey paper pad. Add an old earring and hang a tassel from it.
• Cover office tag with a tag from the tag pad. Cut a stamp from the tag pad and use 3D-Dots to secure it to the tag. Place a clear button in the hole of the tag.
• Cover an office tag with an old book page and ink the edges of it. Add the glittery flower sticker for the bottom layer. Then, place a Bingo chip. The top layer is a smaller glittery flower sticker and the inside to a broken earring.
Finishing the frame:
Tie a large bow and add a velvet flower with an old earring on it. Attach the bow to the upper right-hand corner of the frame.
Tip for Success:
Placing foam adhesive dots behind many of the office tags adds dimension and texture to the frame. If your frame has glass in it, make sure that your memorabilia will fit between the chipboard base and the glass. Place ephemera on your tag that has meaning to your family. You’re creating an heirloom.
