Official Rules

1. All pages must be original designs. Previously honored or published pages will not be considered. Entrant guarantees authenticity of entry.



2. All submissions become the property of Memory Makers, and Memory Makers magazine and books, as well as F+W Publications, have the right to publish and use submitted pages and spreads.



3. Each page/spread in entry must include a photo/photos, journaling and a title. A Photo/Model Release Form must be completed for each page, available at memorymakersmagazine.com.



4. Entries will not be returned.



5. A sheet must be attached to the back of EACH layout in your entry containing the following information: your name, address, city, state, ZIP code, phone number, e-mail address; the complete list of all supplies used on the page (including adhesives); and a brief explanation of any special techniques featured on the layout.



6. No electronic (e-mail) entries will be accepted.



7. Full- or part-time, current payrolled employees of F+W Publications and previous Masters are not eligible to enter or win.



8. Design-team members, including those members belonging to sponsoring companies’ design teams, are eligible. All preliminary and final judging will be done blindly (i.e. names and contact information of entrants will be unknown to judges throughout the judging process).



9. Entries must be postmarked no later than July 31, 2007.



10. Winners will be chosen by August 15, 2007, and will be notified no later than August 22, 2007. Names of winners and 10 runners-up will be posted on the Memory Makers Web site on or before August 22, 2007.

Terms

1. Each 2008 Memory Master’s (hereafter MMM) term begins August 15, 2007 and ends August 1, 2008, pursuant to a Letter of Agreement each Master must sign.



2. Each MMM is required to take part in, and will be paid for, the Techniques column in each published issue (no less than nine).



3. During his/her term each MMM receives a one-time payment of $50 per published, single-page layout, and $75 per published, two-page layout. Payment for other published projects will be determined on a per-project basis. All taxes are sole responsibility of the winners.



4. Each payment will be made upon publication. Memory Makers retains the irrevocable right to publish, reproduce, modify and publicly display and distribute said pages in any way, and in all media without limitation or additional compensation, and to sublicense such rights.



5. Each MMM receives a one-time postage allowance of $100.



6. No MMM is required to use product given them by sponsors.



7. Each MMM must create a minimum of 12 pages to submit for consideration throughout her/his term.
